People Clearly Have A Problem

Hey guys

Just here for a little rant. Had a few comments lately, and to be honest it's nothing new, I've had them for ages now. I had a comment about something I have in my room last night and it just made me think, people clearly have a problem with this. Now you know I am not the most girly-girl at all, I love my make-up, hair and things like unicorns, but I am in no way a lady. I love my games, I love Marvel, DC, star wars, my Funko pops....MY...MY...funko pops. Can I write this any louder?? MY HAHA. I'm also geeky and love learning new things when it comes to tech. The comments made are usually, " I love your boyfriends' gaming room " or " That's not your room, that's your brothers " or " Does your boyfriend know you're in his room" "Your feller has good taste" like bitch, please!! This is my shiz…He ain't this cool! Haha

The comment I got last night that made me think, What the fuck! was about my Mario head cushion. Asking if it was mine or my other half's choice to get it...it's my damn cushion!! People expect to come into my room and I'm sat there with bleach blonde hair, Barbie pink nails that are 10 inches long, dolled up like I'm on the pull and have a bright pink, fluffy room with dolls and crap. Yes, I have unicorns, it's probably the only thing "girly" you'll see in my room. But seriously what is their problem. I'm geeky, I'm nerdy and I like my gaming. I don't go to a spa for a massage or have some beauty stuff to relax, I sit and scream at a game.

Fucking therapeutic if you ask me!!

I don't like going shopping I'd rather order online to save the drama of people in shops, and that has nothing to do with COVID. I don't like dresses, I love my T-shirts and high knee socks, I box dye and cut my own hair and I haven't a freaking clue how to contour. I have a few pretty things yes I just can't be arsed with the high maintenance shit. My night-time and day-time make up are exactly the same and I would prefer to sit and watch some geeky film or something with a cool storyline than cry at a rom-com. I do love my Rom-coms and I love my Disney films. One of my favourite films is Dear John but it a personal story behind it.

STORYTIME...When Dear John first came out my husband took me to the cinema to watch it and when it had finished that was how he told me he was joining the army! It was a "will you still be there before we take it to the next level" kind of thing. So here I am 10 years later. Some people already know but my husband has actually been in the Army for the last 8 years as a reservist. He went to join the Regs but decided not to as we decided to have a family. Now he's joining the Regs and we are a family and our relationship is stronger than ever. Everything happens for a reason remember.

Carrying on...So I love all genres of films but nothing beats a good binge watch of marvels, DC and some old school TV series, I'm currently binge-watching friends. I'm a nerd, not a powder-puff and everything you see in MYYYY room is mine!! Oh actually, my husband has a 30cm shelf that has some stuff on, although I may have taken over that with my perfume.

The typical response to what's your "perfect" date would be in a fancy restaurant, go out a buy a new dress, have their hair and nails done, want expensive champagne and food. Apparently, this is classy and how a lot of women expect to be treated who haven't been hit by reality yet. Or possibly expect the sun to shine out their ass.

My perfect date night, well I'd prefer to have my hair in a messy bun, hoodie/t-shirt depending what season we are in, have my knee highs on with my slippers, order some fat greasy food, burp and fart away kicking your ass on COD with gamer pits.

OH the romance is real with this one hahaha

Anyway, I just wanted a rant, if you got offended by what I say, or have a problem with who I am, your loss.
